“…we drew such strength from your knowledgeable expertise and creative flair. The myriad of hours you helped process decisions is reflected in the beauty of what is now our home. There are not enough superlatives to describe how we feel about you as our builder.”
—Tom & Diane Ruebel

Blue Canyon created a magnificent Camano Island custom home for the Ruebels at their EagleWood retreat, which also includes the original quaint cottage and a Blue Canyon-remodeled carriage house. Done in a Northwest Cape Cod style and impeccably decorated on the interior with a "Country Williamsburg" feel, the home celebrates the placid Northwest surroundings and owner's love for antiques. Featuring picture windows throughout the home and an oversized deck, an unobstructed view serves as the backdrop to a spacious foyer, kitchen and craft room, living area, and guest room on the main floor, and master suite and work study on the home's second story. An ample basement serves as an oversized play area, and feeds into the sweeping lawn and custom-built fire pit. From the porthole window and ornate sconces about the four-door entryway, to the time-classic paint schemes found in every room, it's the small design details that make this home truly unique and memorable.
